Rob & Liz’s 2000 Trip

Example HR

Our 2000 trip saw us heading to the western half of Australia to complete our circumnavigation of the continent.  This trip took in much more of the Australian outback than we experienced during our 1999 trip.  This half of Australia is a beautiful part of the country with its rugged landscapes and sensational coastlines.

Detailed below is a comprehensive diary of the trip on a stage by stage basis.  If you have stumbled across this web site whilst browsing the Web then please do not hesitate to contact us via our email address [email protected] to ask questions or provide comment.

There were many highlights on this trip and we have attempted to summarise these on a stage by stage basis.  What remains a lasting memory is our time in the Kimberley, the Gibb River Road, Cape Leveque, Kununurra and Broome.  What a spectacular part of the Australian outback.
